Description
  Reporting to the Supervisor, the Agent, Group Benefits Administration is responsible for offering services and support to clients in administrating their Group Benefits plan. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing the enrolment process and corresponds with clients of various plans on such matters as coverage, enrollments, changes, terminations, beneficiaries, welcome kits, etc. This individual should be comfortable balancing attention to detail, productivity and efficiency in everyday tasks. What you will do: * Review data for completeness and accuracy, identify and correct data entry errors * Prepare data for physical and digital member Welcome Packages * Respond to client inquiries  * Respond and assist with DEC inquiries  * Validate and review web enrolments  * Setup Plan Administrator Portal access as requested * Prepare and process data loads/feeds * Analysis, review, and action error logs from data loads  * Handle sensitive administrative tasks such as waivers of premiums, late applicants and evidence of insurability * Complete member and coverage overage monthly verifications/reports  * Complete dependent eligibility verifications monthly  What you will bring:  * Bilingual in English & French, written & spoken, preferred * Experience in administration and/or in the insurance field;  * Excellent communication in both official languages; * Flexibility and versatility; * Reliability and detail-oriented; * Ability to work in a team as well as independently; * Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment * Excellent organizational and time management skills; * Ability to work under pressure; * Ability to compose letters in both official languages; * Knowledge in Windows, Microsoft, email and the internet. * Ability to adhere to existing company policies and procedures Who we are: Proudly independent and Canadian-owned, Cowan Insurance Group has been a true market leader in the insurance industry since 1927.
