Description Position Summary Monitors surveillance equipment to protect the assets and interests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort (CWCR) and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards as well as applicable, local, state, Tribal and federal laws. Essential Functions Must maintain confidentiality over all Casino, Surveillance Department, Siletz Tribal Gaming Commission, and Tribal matters. Develops and maintains working knowledge of all relevant regulatory standards. Responsible for collection and distribution of sensitive information. Identifies and reports regulatory, procedural and safety issues as well as issues pertaining to local and federal law. Monitors casino areas and operations to ensure assets and interests are protected. Assists in investigations, audits, and reviews. Prepares reports, records, and logs. Identifies equipment malfunctions and makes repairs and/or notifications. Other duties and tasks as assigned. Requirements Position Qualifications WORKERS IN THIS POSITION MUST BE 21 OR OLDER Competency Statements Communication Skills- Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing. Experience One year of experience in Gaming, Loss Prevention, and Law Enforcement or equivalent field required. Computer Skills Microsoft Office intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Certificates & Licenses Ability to obtain Siletz Tribal Gaming License. Other Requirements Must be available to work any shift on a rotating schedule. Opportunities for employment in other departments may be restricted for up to one year. Prohibited from gambling or entering any contests or promotions at (CWCR). Continue training on an ongoing basis.
