ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aviation Safety, Aviation Management, Risk Management or equivalent (advantage),
• Good training presentation skills and knowledge of different MS Tools (PPT, word etc)
• Good task and coordination skills
• Safety/Quality management experience (advantage)
• Training and/or education in Risk Management, Safety Performance and Safety Promotion (advantage)
• Knowledge of modern safety management principles and practices
• Capable of working in a team, as well as autonomously
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality within a Just Culture
• Organised and willingness to learn
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English; any other language will be considered an advantage

• Prepare the Weekly Safety Report summaries for different business units
• Prepare the Safety Action Group presentation and meetings for Flight Operations, Maintenance & Engineering and Ground safety, record minutes of meeting, distribute them and follow-up on action items
• Coordinate the campaigns for safety promotion: set-up and evaluate surveys, prepare safety bulletins, prepare Boxed Items magazine, prepare safety campaigns and follow-up
• Maintain Aviation Safety Department Intranet pages
• Produce and provide SMS training for different divisions (flight, ground. maintenance)
• Produce and provide other internal safety training as required
• Assist with the creation of the Aviation Safety Department (ASD) internal manuals and procedures
• Coordinate internal and external training for the ASD staff
• Other Administrative tasks as required for the department (e.g. follow-up recommendations, progress status of safety reports, additional projects)
