Job Summary The Aggregate Maintenance Operator performs a combination of duties involving general maintenance/operation of a recycle track plant. The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from.Compensation $26.50 hourlyResponsibilities Complete daily service requirements of lime and recycle plants for preventative maintenance issues Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delays Monitor, repair, and change worn parts General maintenance and welding for wear prevention of equipment Operate loader and other equipment as needed General labor duties such as shoveling and sweeping Education Requirements/Qualifications Ability to work under pressure Available to work overtime; extended hours and weekend work as required for timely project completion Must be flexible with work location; plants are portable Work with minimal supervision Ability to work in all weather conditions; work majority is outside at a mobile crushing facility Ability to lift 95 lbs. infrequently, 50 lbs. frequently, and climb stairs/ladders up to 24’ Ability to use various electric and air-powered hand, welding, and cutting tools as appropriate Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open-pit sand and gravel operations Working knowledge of aggregate production and associated equipment, and understanding of operations and safety requirements for the equipment Experience in welding and fabrication Understanding of the type and quality of materials being recycled or treated Familiar with MSHA regulations; MSHA annual refresher training   Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
