YOUR ROLE:
As part of our continued growth and digital transformation, we are looking for an experienced Agile Transformation Coach to lead and support a comprehensive Agile adoption strategy across a 200-member, cross-functional organization. You will be at the forefront of driving Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling teams to operate in an Agile way at scale.
YOUR TASKS:
The Agile Transformation Coach will play a critical role in guiding the organization through its Agile transformation journey. You will work closely with senior leadership, managers, product owners, Scrum Masters, and teams to foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on coaching to help the organization embrace the Agile way of working, scaling Agile across multiple teams and departments while ensuring alignment with business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Agile Transformation Leadership:
- Lead and support the end-to-end Agile transformation across the organization, providing strategic direction, coaching, and guidance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and goals for the transformation journey.
- Act as a change agent, inspiring and driving cultural change toward a more Agile mindset across all levels of the organization.
- Coaching and Mentoring:
- Coach and mentor leadership, Scrum Masters, Agile teams, and cross-functional groups on Agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and best practices.
- Provide hands-on support for teams, helping them implement Agile methodologies, improve delivery, and optimize processes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within teams and across departments.
- Ensure that Agile metrics and tracked and reported to enable a data-driven approach of the positive impact of Agile on customer satisfaction, team ownership and accountability, quality of delivery and efficiency in execution aligned to the strategic direction.
- Agile Methodology Implementation:
- Guide teams and leaders in adopting Agile practices tailored to their needs, whether Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile frameworks like SAFe, as appropriate.
- Help teams and business units align their goals with Agile values and principles, ensuring smooth integration with organizational objectives.
- Support and lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, sprint reviews) to drive team engagement and high performance.
- Training and Development:
- Design and deliver Agile training and workshops to upskill team members at all levels, including leadership, teams, and individual contributors.
- Equip the organization with the necessary tools and skills to sustain Agile practices beyond the transformation phase.
- Drive leadership enablement for Agile transformation to be effective and efficient.
- Performance and Continuous Improvement:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Agile adoption and transformation efforts.
- Conduct regular assessments of team and organizational maturity in Agile practices, providing actionable feedback for improvement.
- Encourage continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and driving action on feedback to improve workflows, team dynamics, and product delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between the Agile teams and senior leadership to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and report on progress.
- Communicate transformation goals, progress, and outcomes to a variety of stakeholders in a clear, impactful manner.
- Support the development of change management strategies to address resistance and foster adoption of Agile practices.
- Agile Tools & Processes:
- Advise on Agile tools and software that support collaboration, project tracking, and team productivity (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Help establish and promote standardized processes, templates, and guidelines that drive consistency across teams.
- Scaling Agile:
- Work with leaders to scale Agile practices across the organization, including designing frameworks for coordination and alignment across teams.
- Provide support and coaching for establishing cross-team collaboration, and ensure effective communication channels for sharing knowledge and resolving dependencies.
