Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply knowledge to create high quality, predicable, transparent, and sustainable delivery
  • Facilitate key activities including discovery, story mapping and Agile ceremonies
  • Manage and coach approaches to scope / time pressures
  • Coach PO in business value prioritization of work
  • Coach team in effort and complexity for estimation of work
  • Facilitate planning / refining activities
  • Develop team to a high performing, self-organizing state using data driven coaching
  • Keep team accountable towards a Continuous Improvement Plan
  • Support the team with expert knowledge of ASP and help maintain record of artifacts
  • Support solution architect in SA review and approvals
  • Engagement and coordination of extended teams
  • Gather estimates and maintain financials
  • Analysis of team performance using Agile metrics
  • Maintaining JIRA as book of record for tracking dependencies and delivery progress
  • Status and risk / issue reporting
  • Support team in the resolution and escalation of impediments
  • Complete pre-release and release activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master/Delivery Manager – where agile and project management principles, practices and theory were diligently applied
  • Ability to support delivery side of an Agile team with Agile delivery in a complicated and constrained environment, from discovery through release
  • Ability to support product side of an Agile team with Agile product ownership from ideation through discovery
  • Understanding of DevOps, Release Management, and Solution Architecture processes
  • Ability to educate and challenge stakeholders to protect the team from negative impact to delivery
