AGILE PROJECT MANAGER (APM)

Horizon Industries Limited (HIL) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area. We are currently seeking an Agile Project Manager for a full-time position, remotely supporting the Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (NFFS) Integrated Casting Order Network (ICON) portal.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years relevant IT Project Management experience.
  • 4+ years experience with System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases.
  • 4+ years experience with cybersecurity development and operations in a cloud environment.
  • Certified Scrum Master.
  • PMP Certified.
  • Occasional travel to onsite locations (to be determined).
    Clearance: Required to possess current SECRET Security Clearance eligibility.
    Education: Undergraduate degree in IT or Cybersecurity field.
    Location: Remote.
    Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
Responsibilities
  • Uses consultative skills and business knowledge to advise on business objectives, processes, and systems integration.
  • Analyzes the client’s Information Technology business needs, collects relevant data, research problems and potential solutions and recommends courses of action.
  • Collects information through interviews and surveys to draw and support conclusions.
  • Develops and/or reviews final reports for clients and creates, reviews, and delivers presentations on findings.
  • Manages Agile processes, requirements, Jira and other technical documentation.
  • Delivers multiple Agile projects and remove blockers using the appropriate project management methodology.
  • Defines the roadmap with the Product Owner for any given product and translate into user stories.
  • Prioritizes the user stories within product backlog.
  • Manages a multi-disciplinary team of developers, DBA and testers.
  • Implements Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
  • Manages IT development, operations and maintenance support.
  • Provide hands-on experience and leadership to the teams that support and develop ICON with the following: AWS Cloud tools: DB2, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Tomcat, React, Auth0, AWS S3 Cloud, Java, and others
