POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Agricultural Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to our farmer partners, helping them implement best practices in ethical and regenerative farming. This role is crucial in advancing our mission to create a sustainable food supply chain.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in agricultural consulting.
  • Strong understanding of regenerative agricultural practices and sustainability principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for ethical farming and commitment to environmental stewardship.
  • Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder

    Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ferny Hills QLD 405

Responsibilities
  • Consultation: Provide expert advice on regenerative and organic farming practices, including livestock management, crop production, and sustainable practices.
  • Assessment: Evaluate farming operations and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, sustainability, and profitability.
  • Training: Conduct workshops and training sessions for farmers to educate them on best practices in ethical farming.
  • Research: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and innovations in agricultural practices to provide informed guidance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with farmers, stakeholders, and the Green AGriVentures team to develop and implement strategies that align with our mission and values.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on agricultural practices, project progress, and recommendations for improvement.
