Description

Spraytec Australia Pty Ltd is a well-established international fertiliser and agricultural inputs company, with roots in South America and a strong client base in Western Australia.
We are currently recruiting for a specialised Agricultural Consultant to join our team in Perth. This is a niche position, and we are seeking candidates who closely match all listed requirements. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must currently reside in Perth or surrounding areas, or be available to relocate immediately.
  • Hold a Bachelor of Agricultural Science or equivalent (Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering);
  • Demonstrated minimum 2–3 years of direct agronomic consulting or research experience;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with growers;
  • Advanced technical knowledge of soil science, crop nutrition, fertilisers, and pest/disease control;
  • Able to provide a clean police clearance (domestic and international, where applicable).

Position Overview:

This is a full-time role (38 hours/week), requiring flexibility for occasional weekend work and interstate travel. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-level agronomic advice to clients;
  • Designing and recommending input programs (fertiliser, protection, etc.) based on crop and soil analysis;
  • Conducting field trials and supporting technical demonstrations;
  • Collaborating with clients to optimise productivity using Spraytec’s product solutions;
  • Preparing detailed reports and maintaining data confidentiality.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

  • Strong communication skills are essential; fluency in English is required, and Spanish is a valuable advantage.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work both independently and within a small, high-performing team;
  • Familiarity with farming systems and practices relevant to WA cropping and pasture production;
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and professional integrity;

Application Instructions (Strictly Required):

To be considered, your complete application must include:

  • A cover letter (Max 200 words, Calibri 11pt) explaining how you meet the criteria;
  • A current CV with clear and verifiable details, including direct references;
  • Certified colour copies (300 DPI) of your qualifications;
  • Optional: Written references from previous employers.

Important:

  • Applications must be submitted via this job board. Emailed, posted, or hand-delivered applications will not be accepted;

  • No smoking or alcohol use is permitted on company or client premises.
  • All applications are treated with strict confidentiality.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work full-time in Australia and be based in, or willing to relocate to, Perth or surrounding areas.
  • Holders of a temporary visa of any kind, including any bridging visas, will not be considered.

If you meet all requirements and are genuinely motivated to contribute to a growing, innovative company, we encourage you to apply today.
