Responsibilities

The Dispatch & Operations Support coordinates daily operations, resources, and personnel to ensure the smooth execution of branch operations and services. This role is a blend of administrative and hands-on operational duties.

Here are some of the key duties:

  • Communicates with and advises customers on use and application of products sold.
  • Arranges work schedules, dispatches and coordinates application and delivery equipment ensuring least cost operations.
  • Completes all assigned record-keeping duties, such as vehicle logs, records of sales, delivery information, and application records, in a timely manner.
  • Assists the operations manager ensuring full utilization and maintenance of application, delivery units and location equipment ensuring operator safety and operating procedures are continuously being followed.
  • Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials and products, safely on trucks, trailers, or railcars by hand or by forklift truck.
  • During harvest, this role will support our grain elevator activities including loading and unloading grain trucks and scaling trucks, as well as operating automated system grain dryers.
  • Maintain and adjust straightforward equipment and/or machinery, including grain elevator motor and auger.
