JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills.

• Produce detailed plan and layout drawings using CAD software.
• Develop and update product designs by creating 3D models and engineering drawings in SolidWorks.
• Collaborate effectively within a team while demonstrating the confidence to manage individual projects when required.
• Knowledge of livestock housing and handling systems is advantageous but not essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in using AutoCAD and Solidworks for technical drawings and designs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Be fit to work independently
• A background in mechanical engineering or related fields is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining project documentation.

Desirable Criteria

• Use of nesting software for programming CNC (1 year)
• Knowledge of use of CRM (1 year)
• Reverse Engineering products
