We are seeking a highly motivated and organised AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY TECHNICIAN to join our dynamic team at our COCKERMOUTH Country Store and Machinery Depot. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about serving and supporting the Rural and Agricultural industry and who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to play a key role in delivering industry-leading service to our valued customers alongside an established team.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED

Essential

  • A strong technical background in agricultural machinery, power tools or similar agricultural equipment.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well across departments.
  • A team player who is just as comfortable in the workshop as they are on the farm.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an appreciation for our customer base.
  • Has an organised approach to work and able to work using own initiative.
  • Knowledge of Agriculture.
  • Adopts a flexible approach to work and willing to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Team player, with a genuine interest in helping others.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Confident and competent user of Microsoft applications systems and fully IT literate.
  • Previous experience of using CRM, IBCOS or similar software
