We are looking to add an Agriculture (AG) Engineer to support our Agriculture/Civil Engineering team in North Canton, Ohio. The AG Engineer will be responsible for a variety of design projects.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural or Civil Engineering required (Agricultural preferred)
  • Open to all levels of experience. At least 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience or interest in agriculture

Responsibilities
  • Create detailed engineering plans and technical drawings for agricultural and civil projects using AutoCAD, with a focus on site layout, grading, and drainage systems.
  • Plan and model stormwater retention and detention systems to manage runoff and meet local environmental and engineering standards.
  • Design grading plans that optimize land use while ensuring soil stability, proper drainage, and regulatory compliance.
  • Compile engineering documentation for permitting processes, including stormwater management, soils geotechnical investigations, erosion control, and site development approvals.
  • Ensure that all project designs and documentation meet local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Produce and manage design reports, budgets, calculations, and permitting correspondence to support project records and client needs.
  • Client and regulatory agency correspondence.
  • Assist in mentoring and developing junior staff
