Keithly Williams Seeds, a large Western Agribusiness, is looking for a Product Development Representative to work in Santa Maria, CA and surrounding territory. This position will be responsible for planting and evaluating vegetable trials.
Position Overview:
Place, plant, evaluate and keep accurate records of new variety introductions from breeder producer companies. The end objective is to determine the suitability and adaptability of vegetable varieties to regional growing conditions.

Educational Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree program (B.S. in agriculture-related major) or five years comparable agriculture experience

Requirements for position:

• Must have a clean driving record and a valid California drivers license
• Must be able work outside, in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces
• Must be able to bend, lift, stoop, and crawl
• Must be computer literate and able to complete reports online
• Must be fluent in English
