AGTEK/CAD Technician Hughes Brothers Construction is now hiring! We are a heavy civil contractor specializing in large site infrastructure, underground utilities and roadway construction throughout Central Florida. The AGTEK/CAD Technician is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely quantity take-offs for site development, underground utility and roadway projects. Responsibilities: Perform quantity take-offs for civil construction scopes of work including earthwork, underground utilities and roadways. Ability to effectively utilize computer software for quantity take-offs and estimate preparation (AGTEK, AutoCAD, HCSS Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office). Assist the estimating and project management departments with the preparation of project proposals, change orders, etc. Prepare exhibits and drawings as needed to include with proposals for backup and clarification of bid quantities. Perform clerical duties as needed such as creating and maintaining electronic files, compiling relevant data for use in project proposals, etc. Desired Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Proficiency with computer programs including AGTEK, AutoCAD, HCSS, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings High school diploma or higher level of education Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once Strong organizational and communication skills Benefits: Paid Holidays Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) package Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurances with employer contributions 401K with employer match Long-Term Incentives Submit your application by clicking on the "apply" button for the position desired.
