JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled developer to join our team and create cutting-edge AI solutions and chat bots leveraging Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot. This role requires a deep understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a passion for technology and innovation who has a combination of web development skills and an expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) to create web applications that leverage AI functionalities, such as personalized content, intelligent chatbots, predictive analytics, and automated decision-making.
The AI and Web Application Developer will be a hands-on contributor, responsible for the majority of our AI development, which will include collecting and processing data as well as building and deploying AI chat bots and applications across the enterprise. The candidate will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our AI initiatives and provide direct value add to our Attorneys via AI chatbots and applications. Additionally, the candidate will manage data engineering tasks to ensure smooth data flow for AI applications. The Candidate will work cross-functionally with multiple teams to identify AI use cases and develop solutions that deliver tangible value to the firm.
The AI and Web Application Developer will be joining the Web Applications & Information Services team which supports numerous firm applications, including the firm Intranet, across numerous technical disciplines. In addition to the AI development duties, the candidate will also provide support and solution delivery for initiatives such as development and delivery of a new firm Intranet utilizing the Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint Online platforms as well as support of the existing Intranet powered by On-Premises SharePoint and Aderant Handshake.
This role has a remote working arrangement. Potential candidates must reside within one of the 10 states in which we have a physical office. This role reports to the Web Applications and Information Delivery Manager.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in related technologies and systems experience, including a deep understanding of the specific technologies listed in the Essential Functions section above.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Hands on experience configuring AI solutions through Microsoft platform, including: Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search.
• Familiarity with: HTML5, CSS, C#, APIs, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, DAX/MDX, Node.js and JavaScript; Microsoft tools including Power BI (Online and On-Prem), IIS, IISNode and SQL Server Reporting Services; Microsoft SharePoint Platform (Online and On-Prem); Relational databases and stored procedures, able to interrogate databases with SQL; Related Office365 technologies such as SharePoint Online, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and Lists.

• Design, develop, and implement custom AI solutions and chat bots leveraging Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Assist in the development of a new firm Intranet Portal incorporating SharePoint Online and M365 technologies.
• Incorporate AI functionality into the development of the new firm Intranet Portal
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Create and maintain comprehensive documenta

• Perform thorough testing and debugging of AI solutions and chat bots to ensure high-quality performance.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AI solutions and chat bots.
• Provide support for existing applications such as the existing firm Intranet, aimed at delivering information via several application and collaboration platforms including SharePoint, Handshake, Power BI, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Provide support to a variety of custom solutions leveraging web development and database technologies such as HTML5, CSS, C#, APIs, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, JavaScript and SQL Server.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
