We are seeking a dynamic and motivated AI Application Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with 1-3 years of experience in Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Natural Language Processing (NLP), fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, embedding models and vector databases. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge AI solutions that leverage the latest advancements in RAG and NLP technologies. This position is based in Denver, CO, offering flexibility to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Natural Language Processing, and vector database technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in libraries and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
  • Experience working with vector databases.
  • Experience having built large language models as a service.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning principles and techniques, particularly in NLP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Denver, C

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field
  • Experience deploying AI models in production environments
  • Experience with LLM reinforcement learning

Responsibilities

In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation workflows and systems to enhance AI-driven solutions.
  • Implement and fine-tune NLP models for various applications, ensuring high performance and relevance.
  • Build and maintain scalable vector database solutions to support large-scale data retrieval tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RAG and NLP solutions into existing platforms.
  • Conduct experiments and evaluations to benchmark and improve model and application performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in RAG, NLP, and vector database technologies to inform development strategies.
  • Document processes, models, and systems for internal and external stakeholders.
