• Your tasksTechnical conception, redesign and control of the logical data architecture within the central Databricks platform.
• Identification and resolution of existing pipeline problems, as well as the gradual replacement of error-prone custom code with robust Databricks standard functions.
• Central administration, harmonization and documentation of data models for critical use cases (e.g. S450, ME450, MHP Sirius).
• Technical support and guidance for data engineers and data scientists in the implementation of robust, scalable pipelines and data models.
• Close collaboration with IT and OT to define the target image for the data architecture at Quest One.
• This is what you bring with youSuccessfully completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, data science or a comparable subject area.
• Several years of solid professional experience as a Data Architect, Analytics Engineer or Senior Data Engineer with a strong focus on Databricks ecosystems.
• Demonstrable success in stabilizing critical data pipelines.
• A structured, solution-oriented approach to work and the ability to communicate complex technical relationships clearly to stakeholders.
• A self-reliant mindset to proactively drive forward critical issues (e.g., data quality and SLAs for reports).
• Excellent German and English skills.
