We’re seeking an AI & Automation Specialist who can roll up their sleeves, rapidly assess opportunities, and deliver PoC or MVP-stage implementations that show measurable value.

The AI & Automation Specialist is an integral member of the Mancal Information Technology team and will work on projects with all of Mancal’s operating companies. Key responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Evaluate, design, and implement AI and automation-driven solutions for business process improvements across various departments.
• Translate business needs into proof-of-concept (PoC) or minimum viable product (MVP) solutions, with an eye toward scale and sustainability.
• Use low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform AI Builder) and/or RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) to quickly prototype solutions.
• Build lightweight agents or AI workflows powered by LLMs, APIs, or cloud-native tools.
• Collaborate with business teams to map processes, uncover pain points, and co-develop use cases for intelligent automation.
• Support the deployment, testing, and change management lifecycle of AI/automation solutions (PoC MVP Production).
• Work closely with IT Business Analysts and the AI Governance Council to ensure responsible use of AI aligned with internal policies and ethical standards.
• Stay current with evolving tools, automation platforms, and AI trends. Recommend what’s right for each use case, not just what’s familiar.
• Help document, educate, and evangelize AI-driven approaches internally through workshops or working sessions.
