Mō te Tūranga | About the Role This is a new and exciting opportunity at BNZ, where you’ll play a key part in our artificial intelligence (AI) journey, through the implementation and delivery of AI initiatives. What the key day-to-day responsibilities for this role? Deliver complex AI-driven programmes of work that support transforming the way BNZ work and deliver services, establishing and maintaining appropriate governance. Own the delivery of business outcomes across key components of BNZ’s AI programme, including AI initiatives and AI-enabled features. Demonstrate leadership, build strong relationships, negotiating with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of outcomes. Help define business cases for AI initiatives, supported by an understanding of people, processes and proposed business impacts. Partner closely with relevant teams to align on objectives, scope and success measures; supporting change management plans including communications, readiness, training and adoption planning. Leverage data and analytics to ensure capabilities can be monitored in line with BNZs policy, risk and control frameworks. What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? We’re looking for an experienced leader that has delivered AI and/or data related initiatives in a highly complex & regulated business. You’ll demonstrate previous experience in a product ownership or delivery role, where you have successfully managed stakeholders and achieved outcomes. You will bring: Experience or strong knowledge working with AI platforms and leveraging AI capability to transform business processes. Strong understanding of leveraging data and analytics along with model development and monitoring methodologies to achieve the required business outcomes. Risk management knowledge and experience. Ability to articulate complex AI concepts to wider audiences in a simple to understand way to support decision making processes. Demonstrable experience of operating effectively at senior leadership level to influence successful outcomes but also challenge approaches and outcomes where necessary.
