Job Purpose and Role We are seeking a talented Front End Developer with expertise in WordPress and ReactJS to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for updating and customizing our website by collaborating with marketing and ensuring that the site is optimized for both user experience and performance. You will work closely with other team members within a scrum framework, contributing to the overall development process and bridging the gap between design and technical implementation. Job Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that the website design aligns with user experience requirements and is consistent with UX guidelines. Optimize the website for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring efficient performance across all devices and browsers. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, writing reusable code and libraries to streamline development. Validate all user input before submission to the back end, maintaining high standards of code quality. Work within a multidisciplinary team, including back-end developers and web designers, to deliver cohesive and functional applications. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, continuously improving and updating skills to bring innovative solutions to the team. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Front End Developer. Strong expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3. Familiarity with git platforms like GitHub and GitLab. Experience with JIRA for project management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Experience integrating AI/ML APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Vertex, HuggingFace) into frontend applications Ability to build AI-powered UI features such as chatbots, smart search, or intelligent recommendations Familiarity with prompt engineering and optimizing LLM responses for user-facing interfaces Proven experience in Artificial Intelligence projects is highly preferred This is an independent contractor position.
