Description

You’re a technically exceptional frontend engineer who thrives in small, high-performing teams (3-4 people) using AI tools to accelerate development and solve complex problems. You’ll help transform monolithic frontend systems into modern micro-frontend architectures while practicing true engineering agility beyond traditional SCRUM ceremonies. Your expertise in Vue3, Pinia, and Vite will be foundational to our success.
At Trengo, we believe in a world where technology empowers the relationship between companies and their customers. That’s why our mission is to build an AI-powered customer engagement platform to replace repetitive work with meaningful conversations. How do we do that? Our software makes it easy for customer-facing teams to communicate with customers via multiple channels, all in one shared inbox. Email, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, live-chat, you name it. With a Series A investment of $36M led by Insight Partners and Peak Capital and becoming one of the four official WhatsApp Business Solutions Providers in the Netherlands, we empower our customers to scale their businesses and optimize the channels their clients truly prefer.

Responsibilities
  • AI-Enhanced Development: Leverage agentic-based AI tools like Cursor, Augment Code, or Claude Code to accelerate coding, refactoring, and problem-solving, while continuously exploring new AI-augmented development techniques.
  • Architectural Transformation: Lead initiatives to decompose monolithic frontends into micro-frontend architectures; design scalable, resilient, and independently deployable UI services.
  • True Agility: Embrace lightweight, outcome-focused engineering practices that deliver value quickly without ceremony overhead; implement CI/CD for rapid, confident releases.
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with peers through pair programming and knowledge sharing; make pragmatic technical decisions that balance innovation with stability and stay current with the latest FE tooling.
