Tasks

As an AI Engineer at EvidenceHunt, you’ll work on exciting challenges that demand creativity, technical excellence, and a passion for innovation. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

• AI & RAG Solutions: create and fine-tune AI/ML models, including LLMs and information retrieval techniques, to enhance our platform’s capabilities.
• Prompting: Develop, test, and refine efficient prompts to maximize the performance of different LLMs, ensuring effective and context-aware AI responses.
• Optimize Performance: Improve model efficiency, accuracy, and relevance using MLOps practices and cloud-based AI platforms.
• Drive AI Research: Stay up to date with the latest AI advancements and explore innovative approaches, such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with our Tech Lead and CEO to translate AI capabilities into real-world solutions that improve medical research.Ensure Scalability & Reliability: Implement AI models that are production-ready and integrate seamlessly into our cloud-based infrastructure.

Requirements
We’re looking for an AI enthusiast who brings vision, talent, and drive to take EvidenceHunt to the next level.

Must-Have Skills

• AI/ML Expertise: 3+ years of experience working with AI/ML models, including training, fine-tuning, and deploying models in real-world applications.
• Programming languages: Proficiency with a programming language such as Python
• Strong Understanding of AI Architectures: Knowledge of NLP, large language models (LLMs), vector search, and retrieval-based AI systems.
• Content parsing pipelines: Knowledge of multimodal parsing, (semantic) chunking and indexing strategies to facilitate efficient handling of a variety of RAG-based use cases, from full document readouts to key data snippet retrieval.
• Cloud & MLOps Familiarity: Experience using cloud AI services (e.g., Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker) and implementing AI pipelines in production.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret and improve AI model performance based on data-driven insights.

• Passion for AI: A deep interest in applying AI to solve real-world medical research challenges.
