ABOUT THE ROLE

The AI Engineer within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team serves as a crucial leader tasked with designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions that enhance business processes and decision-making capabilities. The role involves talking to clients, participating in business development efforts and working on projects utilizing machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, generative models and multi-agent systems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, AI-powered products and services. This role will also be responsible for enabling our business to use AI and to understand best of breed technologies in the market and how peers are using them.

JOB DUTIES IN BRIEF:

• Client Meetings: Work closely with clients and business to assess client AI needs and identify solutions best suited to meet client needs
• Business Development: Actively participate in client pitches and other sales activities effectively demonstrating and communicating Citco’s AI expertise and capabilities
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, product owners and IT teams to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and deliver AI solutions that drive value
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, driving the successful delivery of projects from concept to deployment
• Develop AI Models: Design, build, and optimize AI models and algorithms tailored to financial applications
• AI Integration: Implement AI solutions into existing business systems/processes to improve functionality and efficiency
• Data Management: Oversee data preprocessing, feature engineering, and infrastructure setup for AI model deployments
• Monitoring & Maintenance: Deploy models into production environments and ensure their continuous performance through updates and refinements
• Research & Development: Stay updated on AI trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions for emerging business challenges
• Best Practices: Establish and promote best practices for model design, development, and deployment, ensuring transparency, scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation for architectural designs, solution components, user stories, acceptance criteria, and automated processes
• Project Reporting: Provide input to project reports to confirm their accuracy and maintain consistent communication
• Change Management: Engage with internal stakeholders to communicate the benefits and implications of client and internal transformative AI initiatives
