What are you going to do?

As an AI Engineer Consultant, you work end-to-end on Data & AI challenges for our clients. You help determine what needs to be built and are subsequently involved in the realization yourself.

You will, among other things:

• translating business problems into AI use cases together with clients and determining when AI is, and is not, the right solution;
• design prototypes and further develop them into reliable applications that can be used in practice;
• Building genAI applications with, among others, LLMs, RAG, agents, tool calling, and modern AI workflows;
• Integrating AI solutions with existing data, APIs, applications, and business processes;
• design scalable architectures for AI applications in the cloud;
• sharing knowledge within Orange Business and contributing to the further development of our Data & AI proposition.

What are you bringing?

We are not looking for a candidate who can tick off every framework on a list.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who enjoys building, collaborating, and wants to further develop as an engineer and consultant.

We think it is important that you:

• have experience developing AI solutions, for example as an AI Engineer, ML Engineer, Data Scientist, or a similar role;
• are comfortable with Python and understand what is needed to make code reliable and maintainable;
• understands what is needed to take AI solutions beyond an experiment or notebook towards a production environment;
• enjoys collaborating with clients and colleagues, where you can clearly explain technical choices to people with diverse backgrounds and ask critical questions;
• are curious, enjoy trying out new technology, and share your knowledge with others;

A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, or a similar field is a plus, but we consider relevant practical experience at least as important.
