Senior AI Engineer (NLP & Generative AI)

A Senior AI Engineer (Python) opportunity is available within a mission-driven SaaS company focused on digital transformation. You will be working on a SaaS platform that enables institutions to create procurement documents in minutes rather than weeks. The role combines hands-on AI development with an opportunity to grow into a leadership position managing a small team.As an experienced AI Engineer you will have deep expertise in NLP, Generative AI, and agent-based systems who wants to remain technically hands-on while stepping into a leadership role.

• Required Skills & ExperienceAdvanced Python development skills.
• Several years of experience building AI-powered applications with a focus on NLP and Generative AI.
• Strong expertise designing and implementing complex AI systems.
• Experience across multiple environments such as product development, prototyping, and scaling production systems.
• Hands-on experience developing agentic AI systems and autonomous workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, PydanticAI, or similar.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into production backend systems, including automated testing.
• Professional-level German and English speaking skills
