This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 250000 - Rs 550000 (ie INR 2.5-5.5 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Hyderabad JobType: full-time We are looking for a skilled and driven Senior Data Scientist to build and deploy machine learning systems that enhance the quality and intelligence of large-scale geospatial data. In this role, you will design advanced NLP models to extract meaningful information, implement anomaly detection techniques to identify inconsistencies, and apply robust data science methodologies to quantify and improve data quality. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of model development—from experimentation and validation to integration, productionization, and large-scale deployment. This position requires a strong blend of data science expertise and software engineering capability, ensuring that solutions are scalable, efficient, and production-ready. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize machine learning and NLP models for large-scale geospatial datasets Build, maintain, and enhance scalable software solutions that integrate ML models into production systems Apply data science techniques such as classification, clustering, feature engineering, anomaly detection, and neural networks to improve data quality Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and transformer-based architectures Work with open-source models and frameworks to experiment and deploy advanced NLP solutions Conduct statistical analysis and build predictive models to quantify and monitor data performance Implement deep learning models using libraries such as PyTorch Utilize frameworks such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, and Polars for model development and analysis Ensure efficient data processing pipelines and scalable deployment architectures Take full ownership of delivering features, enhancements, and improvements within defined timelines Communicate technical insights and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders What Makes You a Great Fit 4+ years of professional experience in machine learning and data science roles Strong expertise in NLP, information retrieval, or data mining Extensive programming experience in Python with solid understanding of data structures and algorithms Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, transformers, and HuggingFace open-source models Deep understanding of classic machine learning algorithms such as SVM, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, and KNN Practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch Strong background in statistical modeling and predictive analytics Experience working with scalable ML systems and production deployments Knowledge of Scala and/or Java is an added advantage Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Key Skills Data Structures, Algorithms, Large language models, NLP, Problem solving, Python
