AI GOVERNANCE & RISK MANAGER – LONDON, UK

An international organisation is looking for an experienced professional to take ownership of AI risk governance and compliance across a global network. This is a permanent position based in London, offering the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping how AI and emerging technologies are embedded safely and responsibly in business operations.

• Design and implement frameworks, standards, and policies to ensure responsible adoption of AI.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, guidance, and internal risk frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance the AI risk register while coordinating with other risk functions for alignment across the enterprise.
• Support due diligence and ongoing assessment of AI tools and platforms to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
• Create toolkits and guidance materials (impact assessments, checklists, documentation templates) to enable teams to assess and manage AI risks effectively.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide clear advice on GenAI and broader AI-related risks, recommending mitigating actions.
• Monitor global regulatory, legal, and ethical developments in AI, ensuring the organisation remains compliant and forward-looking.
• Drive engagement by building a community of AI risk champions across business functions and practice areas.
