About this role AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Gemini are taking off across the enterprises, but adoption stats alone don’t tell us what really matters: business impact. As our AI Impact Research Intern, you’ll help JET design a practical, evidence-based way to measure the value of our AI tooling ecosystem (developer tools and general productivity tools). You’ll combine qualitative and quantitative methods to build a metrics framework, prototype a monitoring dashboard, and translate insights into clear recommendations for leadership decisions on (re)investment, scaling, or sunsetting tools and programmes. This is a hands-on, high-visibility internship where you’ll collaborate with Engineering Productivity, Data & Analytics, Procurement, Finance, Data Governance, and our AI enablement teams. As an intern in AI Governance, you can expect to work with various teams on AI Literacy, AI Risk Management, and implementation of Ethical AI. What will you bring to the team? You need to be enrolled at a university as a student for the entire duration of the internship (6 months). You are available full-time (40 hours/week). A passion for applied research at the intersection of AI, product, and business impact. Functional understanding of generative and predictive models. Coursework or experience in research methods, data analysis, statistics/experimental design. Clear communication skills, being able to turn complex findings into actionable recommendations. A proactive, structured way of working and a collaborative mindset. Nice to have (but not required): Exposure to developer productivity metrics, platform engineering, or product analytics. Familiarity with tools like GitHub and JIRA. Here is our offer...
