Role Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded AI Enthusiast to join our Transformation Program within ANZ to help drive and coordinate NTT DATA’s internal AI initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, product thinking, and organisational change, with a focus on enabling AI adoption across business units. While a deep technical background in AI/ML is not required, the ideal candidate will bring strong drive, business acumen, and the ability to translate business challenges into AI-driven opportunities. You will serve as a bridge between business, technology, and data teams, working with the APAC and ANZ teams to ensure AI is aligned with NTT DATA ANZ’s broader transformation agenda. Key Responsibilities 1. AI Initiative Pipeline (Roadmap) Work with business representatives to identify high-impact AI use cases across key business functions (e.g., operations, HR, customer service, risk). Develop and maintain AI initiative roadmaps, aligned to both near-term priorities and long-term transformation goals. Track emerging AI trends to inform internal planning and innovation. 2. Business Enablement & Product Ownership Act as the internal product owner (or work with a business-based product owner) for AI initiatives, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable outcomes. Work with the APAC AI team and ANZ Transformation Program to prioritise and sequence AI opportunities based on value, feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives. Help develop business cases for AI initiatives, including expected benefits, risks, and resource needs. Serve as a key liaison between business teams, data and analytics, IT, and vendors to ensure alignment and clarity of purpose. Drive collaboration between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery. 3. Collaboration with the ANZ Transformation Office Work closely with the ANZ Transformation Office to identify where AI can streamline or redesign existing business processes. Support enterprise transformation efforts by embedding AI into initiatives focused on operational efficiency, digitisation, and employee productivity. Ensure AI solutions are integrated into broader transformation programs and aligned with process reengineering goals. 4. AI Governance & Risk Alignment In alignment with the APAC AI Governance Board and the APAC AI Taskforce, collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure internal AI adoption aligns with ethical standards and regulatory expectations. 5. Change Management & Engagement Support internal communication and change management efforts to promote AI literacy and adoption. Drive the ANZ-focused AI community of ambassadors and change agents to embed AI as a new way of working. 6. Value Tracking & Benefits Realisation Define and track success metrics for AI initiatives, covering both financial and non-financial benefits, leveraging the APAC tools available to support this. Champion a continuous improvement mindset to evolve AI use cases based on results and feedback. Key Requirements Experience & Skills Passionate and engaged in the value of AI and automation across our business. Experience leading or supporting AI, data, or digital transformation projects in large organisations. Proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and drive delivery of complex initiatives. Strong business analysis and product ownership skills – able to translate business needs into structured opportunities. Understanding of the ethical, legal, and risk considerations surrounding AI deployment. Familiarity with how AI and data solutions are used in business, even if not deeply technical. Competencies Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams. Strong organisational awareness and stakeholder management skills. Comfort working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment. A strategic thinker with a pragmatic and delivery-oriented mindset. Desirable Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Data, or related discipline; MBA or equivalent preferred. Exposure to AI/ML concepts, either through work experience, certification, or upskilling. Certifications in product management, Agile delivery, or change management.
