WHAT WILL YOUR DAYS LOOK LIKE

• Bringing financial records up to date for new public and private clients across diverse industries, including e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, cannabis, blockchain, mining, and biotechnology
• Set up and maintenance of working papers to support audit readiness. While we don’t provide audit services, you’ll gain valuable exposure by liaising directly with client’s external auditors
• Assist clients in transitioning to new accounting software and implementing AI-powered bookkeeping automation tools to streamline data entry and reconciliation
• Leverage AI tools to improve transaction categorization, anomaly detection, and workflow automation for clients
• Working with different functional currencies and foreign exchange transactions
• Maintaining organized e-records of all invoices/statements
• Managing commodity tax filings for clients (i.e. GST and PST);
• Other requested administrative tasks as required.

At Treewalk, you will enjoy a 40 hour work week as you provide various non-assurance accounting services for private entities and small to mid-sized cap public companies. This is a terrific opportunity for someone who loves working independently, has a strong desire to learn new things, and wants to grow professionally without necessarily working 60+ hours a week.
