Description Position Title: AI/ML Cybersecurity Engineer (Anomaly Detection) Location: Placentia, CA Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Status: Full-time / On-site with ability to travel to China Lake one week per quarter. Summary: RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a DOD Secret cleared AI/ML Cybersecurity Engineer working as a member of a team applying AI/ML techniques for anomaly detection. Primary Responsibilities: Essential responsibilities of the AI/ML Cybersecurity Engineer include, but are not limited to: Must have proven track record of success applying AI/ML techniques to detect anomalies or other cybersecurity-relevant events. Must be strong in Python, Pandas, C/C++. Must have strong cybersecurity background and knowledge. Should have experience working with/developing embedded DoD devices. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analysis skills. Ability to work independently. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Availability to travel one week per quarter. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM related discipline with 10+ years of experience. Must have current/active SECRET DoD Clearance. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time. Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location. NOTE: The applicant selected for this position must have and be able to maintain an Active Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.
