ABOUT THE ROLE
Chime’s AI/ML team is building models, services, and platforms that transform how millions of users manage and grow their financial lives. We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer with deep technical expertise in AI/ML/Generative AI. Beyond technical proficiency, we value creativity, user empathy, and strong collaboration.
As an AI/ML Engineer at Chime, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end AI/ML model development and deployment under the guidance of senior engineers. Your work will support scalable AI/ML solutions that power member experience, risk assessment, growth and marketing, experimentation and real-time decision systems. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Chime’s growing generative AI and large language model (LLM) capabilities. This role offers a clear path to developing expertise in full-stack AI/ML engineering, including emerging areas such as LLMs and generative modeling.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $140,670.00 and up to $195,400.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
