This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 3 years Location: India JobType: full-time As an AI/ML Engineer, you will work across the entire lifecycle of model development—from data preparation and feature engineering to experimentation, evaluation, and deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and analytics, to understand business challenges and design AI-driven approaches that address them. The role requires strong analytical thinking, a solid mathematical foundation, and the ability to write clean, production-ready ML code. You will play a key part in building pipelines, experimenting with new algorithms, and ensuring models are optimized for performance, accuracy, and efficient scaling. This is a hands-on position where your work will directly contribute to the intelligence layer of various products and solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models that solve real-world use cases. Work with large datasets, perform data cleaning, preprocessing, feature extraction, and exploratory analysis to prepare data for model training. Experiment with classical ML algorithms, deep learning architectures, and modern AI techniques to identify the best-performing approaches. Build scalable model training pipelines and automate workflows for faster experimentation and deployment. Evaluate models using statistical metrics, tuning strategies, and robust validation methodologies to ensure high accuracy and generalization. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into ML-driven solutions. Integrate ML models into production environments using APIs, microservices, or cloud-based deployment frameworks. Monitor model performance post-deployment and implement improvements through retraining, optimization, and continuous feedback loops. Research emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools to keep the product ecosystem aligned with industry advancements. Document development processes, experiments, and model behavior for internal knowledge sharing and reproducibility. Ensure data privacy, model fairness, and ethical AI standards are applied throughout development. What Makes You a Great Fit You bring 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying ML/AI models in a production or applied research environment. You have strong proficiency in ML fundamentals, mathematical concepts, probability, statistics, and algorithmic thinking. You are skilled in Python, along with ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or related tools. You excel at handling datasets, writing robust data pipelines, and optimizing model performance. You have experience implementing end-to-end AI solutions—from idea to deployment. You communicate your ideas clearly and work well with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You approach problems with curiosity, creativity, and a drive to experiment with new methodologies. You are self-motivated, organized, and capable of owning tasks independently while contributing effectively to team efforts.
