Description

We’re looking for an AI-Native QA Engineer to join our small but mighty team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality in our twice-weekly production deployments. We ensure reliability through thorough use of manual and automated testing. Each QA engineer collaborates directly with developers and product owners to align on requirements and meet expectations. Our team members are able to work independently and committed to maintaining the flow of high-quality deliverables. Every member of the team leverages AI tools and expands their technical skills contributing to our automation suite and developing new tools to enhance testing and release processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in automated software testing or software development.

HARD / TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Experience with automated test creation process.
  • Familiarity with using AI tools.
  • Familiar with GitHub (or a similar version control tool).
  • Some experience with DB queries as part of the quality process.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming.
  • Understanding of SEO / Web Core Vitals.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing practices.
  • Ability to manage context shifts throughout the day’s work.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A sense of ownership over the experience we provide to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, document, and execute test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Participate in requirements analysis and design reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Perform manual testing as required and develop automated test scripts to streamline releases.
  • Monitor and document testing results, providing clear and actionable feedback to developers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
  • Use AI tools to enhance your workflow and continuously expand your technical skillset.
  • Work independently while keeping the flow of high-quality deliverables moving.
