This leadership role is responsible for driving the strategy, deployment, and optimization of AI technologies across internal operational functions. The AI Operations Director will focus on leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and scale organizational processes. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure AI systems are effectively integrated into workflows, delivering measurable business impact. The role includes oversight of AI-driven initiatives in order processing, onboarding, provisioning, and administrative functions, while establishing governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks. The successful candidate will champion a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making. This is a remote-friendly position with occasional travel requirements. Accountabilities Develop and execute a comprehensive AI operations strategy to optimize internal processes and scale operations. Identify, evaluate, and implement AI tools for automation across order management, onboarding, provisioning, and administrative workflows. Collaborate with IT, Product, Operations, and other departments to align AI initiatives with organizational priorities. Redesign and streamline processes by embedding AI-driven solutions to increase accuracy, speed, and efficiency. Oversee monitoring, refinement, and continuous improvement of AI workflows to ensure peak performance. Establish governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks for AI-enabled operations. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sales, Support, and offshore resources, to ensure timely deliverables and adoption of AI solutions. Provide training, guidance, and KPI tracking to measure the effectiveness and ROI of AI initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). 8+ years of experience in operations, business process optimization, or technology management, including at least 3 years focused on AI or automation initiatives. Demonstrated success in deploying AI-driven solutions in operational functions, such as order management or workflow automation. Strong understanding of AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), RPA, and process orchestration tools. Proven leadership experience with cross-functional teams and ability to drive organizational change. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of improving efficiency and scalability.
