As the AI Operations Lead, your job will be to help Descript transition the way we are structured and work at Descript as if the current and forthcoming set of AI tools were available to us from day one.

• Operational diagnostics & roadmap – Embed deeply with functions to map workflows, latency points, and resource spend, and identify opportunities for AI to help us move faster and leaner.
• AI‑driven process design – Prototype and deploy agentic workflows (e.g., agent‑built content generation, n8n‑orchestrated campaign ops, FP&A scenario modeling) that compress cycle time and improve output quality.
• Organizational design & change management – Recommend structure, skill mix, and tooling that maximize velocity and clarity.
• Thought leadership & enablement – Serve as internal evangelist for AI adoption; stay ahead of emerging agent frameworks and best practices in vibecoding, n8n, and similar toolchains; run workshops and create reusable playbooks.
• Strategic projects – Lead high‑leverage initiatives for the CEO that require analytical rigor and cross‑functional orchestration.
