Description
AI Product Designer (Temporary Position – 9 months) About Reeco Reeco is transforming back-of-house operations for the hospitality industry. While guest experience is front and center, core operational areas such as purchasing, inventory, invoicing, and finance are still managed using outdated tools and manual processes. We build AI- and data-driven products that help global hospitality brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG manage their operations more accurately, efficiently, and with greater confidence. Our mission is to turn large volumes of operational and financial data into products that people can truly understand, trust, and rely on. Why Reeco Our culture is guided by Heartt: Humility, Excellence, Ambition, Respect, Transparency, and Trust. We believe great products are built by people who take ownership, think systemically, and are comfortable working with complexity. At Reeco, AI is not an add-on. It is a core layer of the product, and designers play a central role in shaping how intelligence and automation are experienced by users. The Role As an AI Product Designer, you will design AI-native products built on large datasets, complex financial logic, and operational workflows. This role focuses on core areas such as Accounts Payable, finance, invoicing, and data-heavy workflows where accuracy, transparency, and trust are critical. This is a role about designing system behavior, not just interfaces. You will shape how AI-driven systems operate over time, initiate actions, manage exceptions, and interact with users in real-world operational environments. We believe designers can bring a product all the way to development. In AI-driven systems, design responsibility includes defining logic, control, edge cases, and user trust — not only visual design. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end AI product design from problem definition through development and iteration Design AI-driven workflows across operational and financial flows Define how AI systems initiate actions, progress workflows, handle exceptions, and return control to users Design user interaction with autonomous and semi-autonomous system behavior in data-dense financial environments Translate financial logic, model behavior, and complex data flows into clear, reliable user experiences Define mechanisms for user control, overrides, feedback, and learning in automated systems Treat edge cases, failures, and uncertainty as core design challenges Build prototypes that simulate system behavior, decisions, and long-running workflows Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure designs are feasible and development-ready Contribute to and evolve design systems for complex, data-heavy products Advocate for transparency, auditability, and trust in AI-driven systems Requirements Who You Are 3–5 years of experience in Product Design, UX, or a related field Experience designing complex B2B SaaS products; background in data-heavy or financial domains is a strong advantage Proven experience working with agentic code tools (Claude Code) – mandatory Strong systems thinker who is comfortable designing behavior and logic, not just UI Able to reason about automation, data, and model-driven outcomes from a user perspective Experience leading user research and usability testing independently Solid understanding of UX best practices, interaction design principles, and accessibility High proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system Strong interest in AI-native product design and building products on top of intelligent systems Believe designers should take ownership through development, not stop at handoff A thoughtful, collaborative person who aligns with Reeco’s Heartt values Additional Information Note: This is a temporary position – maternity leave replacement for approximately 9 months, with full ownership and impact from day one. How to Apply Please send your resume and portfolio, and tell us why Heartt resonates with you. We are looking for designers who want to build real AI products in complex, data-driven domains and take meaningful ownership over what gets built. Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
Responsibilities
As an AI Product Designer, you will own end-to-end AI product design, focusing on designing AI-driven workflows and defining how AI systems interact with users. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure designs are feasible and development-ready.
