Let’s Talk About the Role
As an AI Product Engineer at Halight Inc., you will design, integrate, and optimize AI-powered features that leverage foundation models and agents to deliver impactful user experiences. You will focus on orchestrating AI workflows, integrating third-party AI APIs, and building tools that translate AI capabilities into scalable product features, ensuring these solutions create clear user value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, integrate, and deploy AI-powered features using foundation models via API to enable product capabilities.
• Develop, manage, and orchestrate AI workflows using tools such as N8n.io or similar workflow automation platforms to build reliable and scalable AI solutions.
• Leverage AI agent frameworks to chain tasks, build autonomous workflows, and enhance product automation.
• Implement API integrations to connect AI services with existing product platforms, ensuring seamless and secure data flow.
• Prototype and validate AI-powered features rapidly to inform product decisions and user experience improvements.
• Optimize AI workflows for cost, performance, and scalability within production environments.
• Translate complex AI capabilities into user-focused product features with clear value propositions and measurable impact.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define AI feature requirements, success criteria, and integration approaches.
• Design and conduct offline evaluations (accuracy, relevance) and online A/B tests to validate the effectiveness of AI features.
• Incorporate iterative feedback loops, including human-in-the-loop approaches and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), to refine and enhance AI feature outputs and ensure alignment with user needs and business goals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging AI tools, APIs, and orchestration platforms to inform implementation decisions.
• Other Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned or as the need arises to support the overall success of the company and its products.
