About the role

Krishi Ltd provides IT consultancy and software services. We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and AI-enabled features, working with developers and product owners to release quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated end-to-end and regression test suites using WebdriverIO and TypeScript.
• Write unit and component tests with Jasmine, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Test AI-enabled features, including checking model outputs for accuracy, consistency, bias and edge cases, and building automated validation for them.
• Create test plans, test cases and test data from requirements, and run exploratory, API and performance testing where needed.
• Investigate defects, find root causes, and report them clearly to the development team.
• Improve test coverage, reliability and execution speed, and reduce flaky tests.
• Mentor junior team members and promote QA best practice.

Essential requirements

• About 10 years’ experience in software testing, including significant test automation work.
• Strong hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Jasmine and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI, and with Git.
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, Agile delivery and API testing.
• Good written and spoken English. New Skilled Worker applicants need English at B2 level.

Desirable

• Experience testing AI or machine learning systems, LLM-based features or data pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, Docker and performance testing tools.
• A degree in computer science or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
