Description
As an AI scientist at Clario, you will push the boundaries of AI in clinical trials and help build the first end-to-end AI-enabled clinical trial platform. This research role involves foundation models and large initiatives including universal lesion detection and segmentation, as well as creating new end-to-end pipelines encompassing the whole clinical trial cycle. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring innovative imaging-AI solutions into production. What We Offer Competitive compensation Attractive benefits (security, flexibility, support and well-being) Remote or hybrid working What You’ll Be Doing Research and develop CNNs, transformers, multimodal foundation models, and domain-specific architectures (e.g., vision models for lesion tracking, image registration models, lesion segmentation neural networks) Research, design, and build machine learning models tailored to complex medical imaging datasets Conduct experiments and champion the exploration of new technologies and methodologies in AI and machine learning Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of product managers, radiologists, clinical scientists, AI and software engineers Contribute to the broader technical vision and mentor teammates in ML best practices Maintains Quality of Service and Departmental Standards by reading, understanding, and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Participate in the design and development of our products, in collaboration with clinical partners, Product, and Customer Success teams Contribute to the design and success of scientific publications What We Look For PhD, or Master’s degree with equivalent experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision or a related field Proficiency in Python and relevant machine learning frameworks (PyTorch) Ability to design, run, and analyze experiments independently and communicate scientific results Willingness to dive deep into complex medical topics and communicate with multidisciplinary teams Understanding of machine learning and statistics principles, computer vision challenges, and medical imaging Demonstrated record of working on research projects with peer-reviewed scientific communications, publications and/or talks Strong theoretical and practical background in deep learning development demonstrated with proven track record of delivering AI solutions from prototyping to usage. Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps tools is a plus Experience of developing medical AI solutions and interacting with clinicians or participating in open-source medical projects You excel in technical communication, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives and engineers You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and are passionate about mentoring and growing scientific talent At Clario, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
