Are you prepared to play a pivotal role in transforming the R&D function of life sciences through Data & AI? Deloitte is seeking a Senior Manager with a deep understanding of R&D data and a passion for driving innovation in the life sciences industry.
As a Senior Manager in our Life Sciences AI&D team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and manage AI and data-driven projects, focusing on Generative AI, to address key business challenges in the life sciences industry, enabling clients to unlock new possibilities and drive transformative change.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to develop and implement innovative AI solutions that deliver tangible value to clients and position Deloitte as a leader in the industry.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Generative AI in R&D space, providing strategic guidance and insights to clients and internal teams, and driving the development and adoption of AI and data strategies that enhance business performance.
- Ensure successful project delivery, from scoping and planning to execution and evaluation, while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction, and building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to align AI solutions with their business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI, data, and life sciences, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the team and for clients, while mentoring and developing junior team members to foster a culture of learning and growth within the AI and Data team.

- Strong understanding of the R&D functions within the life sciences industry, covering drug discovery, clinical trials, and other R&D processes.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in relevant disciplines.
- Proven track record in delivering successful AI and data projects in the R&D functions of life sciences organizations, driving tangible value for clients.
- Extensive expertise in AI technologies, methodologies, and applications, with a focus on transforming the R&D functions within the life sciences industry.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their R&D needs, provide expert advice, and deliver tailored AI solutions that meet their objectives.
- Project Leadership: Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI and data solutions, focusing on R&D processes, to solve complex challenges within the life sciences industry.
- Innovation and Strategy: Develop and drive innovative AI strategies and solutions that align with clients’ R&D goals, enhancing their competitive edge.
- Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought leader in Generative AI, staying updated on the latest trends and advancements, and sharing knowledge within the team and with clients.
- Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, contributing to proposals, and participating in client pitches.
