Description

Syntiant Corp., a leader in the high-growth AI software and semiconductor solutions space, is looking for an experienced and talented AI Software Application Engineer to take on a critical role with expansive responsibilities and play a leading role in supporting the deployment of Syntiant software AI solutions in a growing organization to a growing customer base.
The AI Software Application Engineer will be responsible for supporting integrations of vision as well as audio models and features on 3rd party hardware using the Syntiant Inference SDK. This position will play a key role in integration support, debugging and resolving customer issues, writing demos and sample code, supporting Syntiant AI software FAEs and salespeople, and writing documentation.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare demos; write sample/demo applications that may be end-to-end, involving integration with a live camera stream and result visualization on a display.
  • Provide integration support, including working with modelgraphs and preparing sample integration code.
  • Debug integration and model performance issues.
  • Report Inference SDK issues and work with the engineering team to ensure resolution.
  • Gather requirements and feedback.
  • Provide technical support.

REQUIREMENTS

  • MS in CS, EE, or CE with 10 years of experience
  • Strong C, C++ and Python skills.
  • Strong analytical mind and debugging skills
  • Experience working with embedded systems, incl. running RTOS.
  • AI/ML vision, image, and preferable audio, modeling knowledge to estimate work or diagnose customer issues and coordinate internally to schedule/manage work.
  • Experience working with image or audio pipelines (Linux, Android, Windows).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Computer vision, image, speech, and audio domain knowledge a plus.
