Description
Job Details: Job Description: Join us as a software engineer to build a complete software stack for a novel AI accelerator. Your mission: maximize hardware utilization while ensuring ease of use so customers can easily adopt Intel’s solution. You’ll work across the stack—from high-level frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, and ONNX to low-level drivers and firmware. User-space code will be open source, so clean coding practices and customer focus are essential. Key responsibilities include developing heuristics to map deep learning workloads efficiently to unique hardware. Familiarity with common model architectures is helpful but not required; you’ll learn on the job. As part of a HW/SW co-design effort, expect involvement in pre-silicon validation and bring-up of new generations. Qualifications: B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Python. Hands-on experience with Linux environments, including system-level development and optimization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with GPU programming and acceleration technologies (CUDA, ROCm). Proficiency in AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, or similar). Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts, including model development and deployment. Performance optimization for distributed computing environments. Job Type: Experienced Hire Shift: Shift 1 (Israel) Primary Location: Israel, Haifa Additional Locations: Business group: At the Data Center Group (DCG), we're committed to delivering exceptional products and delighting our customers. We offer both broad-market Xeon-based solutions and custom x86-based products, ensuring tailored innovation for diverse needs across general-purpose compute, web services, HPC, and AI-accelerated systems. Our charter encompasses defining business strategy and roadmaps, product management, developing ecosystems and business opportunities, delivering strong financial performance, and reinvigorating x86 leadership.
