POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Mid-Level Software Engineer contributes to designing and implementing technical solutions while supporting the engineering team. They actively participate in software architecture and system design, ensuring code quality and scalability. With strong problem-solving skills, they address technical challenges and optimize system performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for driving product development. The Mid-Level Software Engineer adheres to coding standards, performs code reviews, and follows best practices. They stay updated with industry trends and continue developing their technical skills to contribute effectively to project goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years’ experience writing software in production environments.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software technologies in multiple computer languages
  • Experience with high-level languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, SQL, etc.
  • Experience with design patterns, algorithms, and other computer science fundamentals
  • Experience with various software stacks including Web, Windows Desktop, Cloud, IoT
  • Experience with API Technology, including REST and GraphQL
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure, including services like Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology and thriving in fast-paced development environments.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to software design and architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability in line with team goals.
  • Develop and enhance new features, ensuring the codebase remains maintainable and efficient.
  • Identify and resolve bugs while optimizing code for performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, Product Management, and DevOps, to ensure smooth product development and delivery.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support where needed.
