Description

The AI Strategy & Engineering department within R&D is responsible for the strategic direction and technical implementation of AI initiatives within the company. It identifies relevant AI use cases, develops scalable solutions, and supports their implementation through to production operation – in accordance with corporate goals, governance guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

YOUR TASKS

They independently manage development projects in the AI field – from conception to implementation.
- They support the team in the implementation and integration of AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
- They develop and maintain interfaces and system integrations to ensure smooth data exchange.
- They conduct tests, perform debugging, and ensure comprehensible technical documentation.
- They provide technical advice to specialist departments and actively participate in interdisciplinary project teams.

YOUR PROFILE

Completed training in computer science or comparable professional experience, as well as very good knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C#)
- Practical experience in the development and use of APIs as well as in handling relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with AI-assisted coding (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codeium) and openness to new technologies
- Advanced knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, combined with analytical thinking and an independent, structured way of working.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as a strong interest in artificial intelligence.
