  • 7+ years proven experience in consulting and solution architecture, ideally in automation and AI-enabled delivery.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools and strong understanding of AI technologies (models, agents, orchestration; e.g. RAG/embeddings).
  • Balance of technical leadership, governance and pre-sales.
  • Public sector exposure is highly preferred.
  • Strength in solution documentation and report writing, including non-functional requirements for enterprise environments.
  • Leadership in coaching and mentoring, and experience coordinating offshore delivery teams.
Responsibilities

Join our Digital, Data & Technology (DDT) team as an AI Solutions Architect at Associate Director level. You’ll shape practical, secure and scalable AI-enabled solutions and guide delivery teams to successful outcomes across sectors, with a strong focus on New Zealand’s public sector. Lead solution and process architecture for AI-enabled and automation outcomes, with a focus on clear delivery.

  • Design agentic patterns and orchestration; produce solution architecture and business documentation.
  • Own the technical delivery stream, including integration patterns and non-functional requirements (security, privacy, logging).
  • Coach on-shore juniors and guide offshore/SDC teams to deliver to time, quality and budget.
  • Support pre-sales activity: shape proposals, estimate scope, and run demos/POCs.
