KEY OBJECTIVES:
Chubb is seeking an outstanding AI Solution Architect to help scale our Large Language Model (LLM) program. This role blends providing strategic vision, architecting AI solutions, and helping/guiding solution delivery to drive enterprise transformation through AI at a global scale.
As an AI Solution Architect, you will:
- Develop Innovative AI Solutions: Design and architect robust AI solutions that address complex business challenges, enhancing operational efficiency and driving competitive advantage.
- Ensure Scalability and Performance: Deliver high-performance AI systems that can scale effectively with increased data volume and user demands while maintaining low latency.
- Implement Best Practices: Establish and promote best practices for AI development, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring high code quality and performance standards across all AI initiatives.
- Enhance Model Performance: Continuously monitor and fine-tune AI models, focusing on real-world application and performance metrics to improve outcomes and user satisfaction.
- Facilitate Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continual skills development in AI technologies.
- Drive Adoption of AI Technologies: Promote and advocate for the adoption of AI technologies within the organization by demonstrating their business value and effectiveness in solving real-world problems.
- Maintain Compliance and Security Standards: Ensure that all AI solutions adhere to industry regulations and best practices in data privacy, security, and ethical AI use.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI-related roles, with at least 3 years focused on AI solution design and architecture.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and handy in AI model developing. In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, including but not limited to natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and deep learning.
- Architecture Skills: Proven experience designing and implementing scalable AI architectures and systems in production environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services.
- Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development, particularly Python. Knowledge of Java, C++, or R is a plus.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of addressing complex business challenges through innovative AI solutions.
- Knowledge of AI Lifecycle: Familiarity with the AI development lifecycle, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, validation, and deployment.
- Adaptability and Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI and machine learning, and a willingness to adapt architectural approaches accordingly.
- Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership skills to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Compliance, Privacy and Security Considerations: Awareness of compliance, ethical considerations, and best practices related to data privacy, security, and the responsible use of AI technologies.
Preferred
- Data Management Acumen: Experience in data modeling, data management, and data pipeline development.
Understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in Financial Industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with InfoSec/privacy concerns for LLMs and best practices for responsible AI.
- Full-stack product development experience.
