SAIC is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Technical Advisor to support a fast-paced, dynamic, start-up type environment. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with Intelligence Community (IC) government customers and IT developers and provide technical leadership and vision for AI-Driven innovation. This position will require expert level technical leadership skill, with a deep understanding of AI and its applications. This position will develop and shape technical plans, architecture, and roadmaps that harness the potential of AI to drive innovation. The customer is seeking someone that can anticipate the implications of emerging AI technologies, identifying opportunities and challenges before they arise. This position will also be responsible for the following: Developing and Shaping Technical Plans and Strategies: Develop, not just analyze, technical plans and strategies that address complex problems and opportunities in the AI domain. Integrate technical expertise with business acumen and stakeholder needs, creating comprehensive plans that drive innovation and deliver results. Be comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, and able to navigate the complexities of cutting-edge AI technologies. Provide Strategic Communication and Stakeholder Management for AI Innovation. Provide expert-level strategic communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver clear, concise, and compelling messages to various stakeholders, including technical teams, project sponsors, and external partners, on the potential and implications of AI-driven innovation. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and issue resolution even in the face of uncertainty or changing priorities. Provide hands-on Expertise and ability to drive AI-Driven Innovation. This position requires a “doer” who can not only provide guidance but also drive the development and implementation of AI-driven innovation. They should be a self-directed, proactive professional who can work independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative, prioritizing tasks, and managing their workload effectively, even in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to focus on delivering strategic outcomes, not just widget and model making. Anticipate and Navigate uncertainty in AI-Driven Innovation including being comfortable operating in a highly uncertain and dynamic environment, characterized by rapid advancements in AI technologies and shifting stakeholder needs. Ability to anticipate and navigate the implications of emerging AI technologies , identifying opportunities and challenges before they arise. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required Bachelor's and 10+ years of experience in a technical advisory role Proven experience in AI technical leadership and innovation Experience developing, and shaping technical AI plans and strategies Experience in strategic communication and stakeholder management for AI innovation Hands-On expertise and the ability to drive AI-Driven innovation
