Description
- Create, enhance, test, maintain, and distribute key reports/presentations to WM Alternative Investments Senior leadership and transaction processing teams. The reporting scope will range from high level Senior Management Quarterly status updates to targeted assessments of specific processes and controls - Leverage applications such as Dataiku, Tableau, SQL, MS Access and MS Excel to simplify data collection, calculation, and presentation - Identify gaps between the current state and ideal state and take appropriate actions to improve the operating environment - On an ad-hoc basis, research and analyze complex business /operational challenges by collecting relevant and timely information - Escalate issues and events that require attention, or action to business partners, senior business managers, senior risk managers, legal, and others 3rd parties as appropriate - Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives including risk mitigation, efficiency, and improving the customer experience - Partner with the Stakeholders to define and recognize opportunities to scale reporting efforts. - Drive accountability and limit risk exposure for assigned initiatives by establishing controls and monitoring progress. Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support functions and business performance - 3+ years in a similar role with a focus on data analysis and reporting - 1+ years of advanced working experience with applications like Dataiku, Tableau, SQL, MS Access and MS Excel or equivalent data aggregation, analysis, presentation applications with a demonstrated ability to work with large and unstructured data - Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, to take initiative, actively participate in projects/discussions, manage multiple priorities and execute in a fast paced, high demand environment - Highly motivated, well-organized, and able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision; ability to prioritize multiple tasks; and bring tasks to completion within established timeframes - Ability to partner with subject matter experts and team members to guide the development of deliverables - Problem solving skills: The candidate must have the ability to identify complex risks early and develop actionable mitigation plans - Analytical skills: The candidate must be highly analytical with experience in using objective data to drive strategic recommendations - Communications skills: The candidate must be able to concisely explain complex issues to audiences of varying seniority. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
